Installation Instructions for both Inside & Outside Mount!

Using double hanging strips that mount on the wall surface "outside" or to the window jamb "inside" and Wrap-Around Hinges

This set of instructions is general in nature and cannot answer all questions that may arise during an installation of Plantation Shutters. You should read and follow the instructions that were shipped with your shutters carefully, guided by common sense in identifying steps in your project that do not match these general instructions.

Tools needed:

Phillips Screwdriver (power screwdriver recommended)

Drill with pilot bit & 3/8" wood bit for counter-sinking screws

General Parts List:

Shutter panels in correct sizes and numbers for the window

Mounting Strips (precut to length)

Drywall screws (appropriate for most situations)

Wrap-Around Hinges with screws

Inner Wrap-Around with screws (if more than 2 panels in opening)

Magnetic Catches

Touch-up Paint (when appropriate)
